Dr. Rene, Dermatologist ★★★★★
"This red-light technology and microcurrent stimulation in a simple at-home treatment designed for the delicate under-eye area. I particularly like its focus on improving the appearance of tired-looking eyes, puffiness and fine lines without adding another complicated step to your skincare routine.” — Dr. Rene, Dermatologist’”

Is red light safe this close to my eyes?

Red light doesn't contain UV. But how safe any light is near the eyes depends on how strong it is and how long you're exposed. That's why we publish the device's wavelength and output instead of just saying “red light”.

Keep your eyes closed during sessions, stick to 10 minutes, and don't use it if you have an eye condition or take sensitising medication without asking your doctor first.

Will the EMS hurt or shock me?

You'll feel a light tingling or pulsing, and you may notice a gentle muscle flicker. That's the stimulation working. Start on level 1 and use it over serum or lotion, which helps the current feel smooth rather than prickly.

Don't use the Eye Renewal Device if you're pregnant, have a pacemaker or other electronic implant, or have epilepsy.

Will it work on my type of tired-looking eyes?

It depends on what's causing the tired look, and we'd rather tell you than sell you. The Eye Renewal Device is best suited to fine lines, crepey or dull skin texture, and morning puffiness.

It won't refill hollows, shrink structural fat bags or remove deep genetic pigmentation. No at-home device honestly can. If that's your main concern, a dermatologist or aesthetic doctor can help you work out your options.

Why not just use an eye cream?

You can.

But creams primarily work through topical skincare. The Eye Renewal Device provides a targeted device-based routine combining red light with controlled electrical stimulation, so you're not relying solely on another cream to camouflage or temporarily improve the area..

How long before I notice a difference?

Some people notice their eyes look a little less puffy straight after a session. Changes to the skin itself are gradual. In red-light research, visible changes to fine lines were measured over several weeks to 12 weeks of regular use.1

That's why we give you 90 days. Take a photo in the same light on day one and compare at week 12.

For everyone who's tired of hearing “you look tired”

You're not imagining it, and you're not the only one. Here's what people who felt fine but looked exhausted noticed after making the device part of their routine.

Heard any of these lately? “You look tired.” “Are you okay?”“Rough night?” “Did you sleep at all?” “You should take a day off.”

  • ★★★★★ Sophie R. — “I actually feel comfortable leaving the house without concealer.”

I’ve had dark under-eyes for years and I got so used to covering them that concealer basically became part of getting dressed. After using this consistently, the area looks smoother and more refreshed. I still have some darkness, but I don’t feel like I need to hide it every single day anymore.

  • ★★★★☆ Lauren M. — “It’s the small changes that made the biggest difference.”

I wasn’t expecting a dramatic transformation, and that’s not really what happened. What I noticed was that my under-eyes looked less puffy in the mornings and the skin seemed a bit smoother. After a few weeks, my whole face just looked less tired. Subtle, but definitely noticeable to me.

  • ★★★★★ Adam C. — “My eyes finally match how I actually feel.”

I’m 46 and I’ve always had people asking if I’m tired, even when I’ve slept eight hours. I started using this mainly because I wanted to look less drained on work calls. The difference has been gradual, but my under-eye area looks fresher now and I don’t look permanently exhausted on camera anymore.

People can't see how much you slept. They see cues.

In controlled sleep studies, people judged faces as more tired when they showed darker under-eye circles, more swelling, and more visible fine lines.2 Your eyes can show those cues even on a day you feel great.

Looking tired isn't always about being tired. It's often about the visible signals around your eyes.

Fine lines and crepey texture

Changes in skin quality that catch the light and make the area look worn.

Best fit

Morning puffiness

Temporary swelling that comes and goes depending on the day.

Good fit

Darkness from pigment or blood vessels

Often genetic. Early research is promising, but set modest expectations.

Limited

Hollows and structural bags

Caused by anatomy and volume. No at-home device can honestly change these.

Not a fit

Two technologies, and what each one actually does

We'll tell you where the evidence is strong, where it's still early, and what neither technology can do.

Red light

Low-level red light is absorbed by the skin without heat or UV. It's the longer-term part of the routine, working on the skin itself.

What it's used for

Improving the look of fine lines, smoothness and firmness around the eyes.

What the research says

Randomized clinical trials found visible improvements in wrinkles around the eyes over 4–12 weeks of regular use.1 Those studies used clinical devices, so results depend on consistent use.

Evidence: well studied

EMS stimulation

EMS (electrical muscle stimulation) sends gentle pulses to the muscle under your lower eyelid. You'll feel a light tingle or flicker. It's the part you can feel working.

What it's used for

A toning, massage-like stimulation that leaves the eye area feeling refreshed.

What the research says

A small 2024 study found stimulating the lower-eyelid muscle improved the look of dark circles.3 It's encouraging but early, so we don't overstate it.

Evidence: early but promising

What it won't do: melt or shrink fat pads, refill hollows, remove deep genetic pigmentation, or “drain lymph.” Any device that promises those things is selling a story.

How to use

1. Cleanse

Wash your face and pat dry. Take out contact lenses and remove eye makeup.

2. Apply serum

Smooth a little eye serum or moisturiser under your eyes. It helps the EMS feel smooth instead of prickly.

3. Put it on

Position it comfortably over your under-eyes and press start. Start on level 1.

4. Relax for 10 minutes

Grab a coffee, sit back and relax. Turn the level up only if it feels comfortable. It stops by itself.

How it compares to what you've already tried

Every option has its place. Here's an honest look at what each one does.

Eye Renewal Device Concealer Eye cream Cooling patches Full LED mask Filler

Filler can work well for hollows when done by an experienced injector, but it's invasive and may require repeat treatments. This device is a gentler first step for skin-quality concerns, not a replacement for filler.

Your 12-week roadmap

Skin changes gradually. Here's what to do, and what to look for, at each stage.

Day 1

Set your starting point

Get used to the tingle on level 1 and pick a time of day you'll stick to.

Take a bare-faced photo by a window, no makeup.

Weeks 1–4

Build the habit

Some people notice their eyes look a little less puffy right after a session. Skin changes haven't started showing yet, and that's normal.

Don't skip days. Consistency matters most here.

Weeks 6–8

Look for the first changes

The under-eye skin may start to look smoother, with fine lines a little softer.

Retake your photo in the same spot and light.

Week 12

Compare and decide

Put your day-1 and week-12 photos side by side. This is when you'll get the clearest picture of what's changed.

Not happy? You're still inside the 90-day guarantee.

More questions, answered

You do not have to use it every day forever. After completing your initial routine, you can reduce use to a maintenance schedule that works for you.
Keep your routine gentle around the eye area. If you use active ingredients such as retinoids or exfoliating acids, avoid using them if your skin feels irritated and follow the instructions for your skincare products.
Wait until the treated area has fully settled and follow the aftercare instructions from the clinician who performed your treatment. If you're unsure, ask them before use.
Sensitive skin can react differently. Start cautiously and stop if you experience persistent redness, irritation, discomfort or unusual sensitivity.
Battery life depends on your usage. Recharge it with the supplied USB-C cable whenever the battery indicator shows that power is running low.
The device is intended for adults. It is designed for people concerned about the appearance of the under-eye area rather than for any specific age group.
Yes. The technology is not gender-specific and can be used by adults regardless of gender.
If your device develops a fault, contact customer support with your order details. Any warranty coverage will be handled according to the warranty terms shown on the store.

Customer Reviews

Overall rating: 4.6 / 5 from 65 reviews.

“So much easier than an LED mask.” I already own a full face mask but rarely use it because it feels like such an event. This is much easier because it only covers the area I'm actually concerned about. I reach for it way more often.

Awake red light therapy glasses

“Perimenopause seemed to age my eyes overnight.” Everything around my eyes suddenly started looking more tired and crepey over the last year. I've been using this device for several weeks and the area looks noticeably smoother and more refreshed. I feel much more like myself again.

Awake red light therapy glasses

“Makeup finally sits properly under my eyes.” This wasn't even the main reason I bought it, but it's probably my favourite result. My concealer used to settle into every little line and make the area look worse. My skin looks smoother now and I use much less makeup.

Awake red light therapy glasses

“Better for texture than my actual hollows.” I have fairly deep tear troughs and those obviously haven't vanished. What I have noticed is that the skin itself looks smoother and less crepey. I appreciate that it improves what it realistically can rather than pretending it's filler.

Awake red light therapy glasses

“My daughter noticed before I did.” I'd been using it every evening and wasn't really sure if I could see a difference because I look at my face every day. Then my daughter asked if I'd changed something because I looked more rested. That's when I went back and compared my photos and could really see it.

Awake red light therapy glasses

“I don't automatically reach for concealer anymore.” For years I put concealer on even if I wasn't wearing any other makeup because otherwise someone would inevitably tell me I looked tired. I'm much more comfortable going bare-faced now. That alone has made this worth it for me.

Awake red light therapy glasses

“I like it, but it isn't magic.” I definitely think my under-eye skin looks nicer, but my actual bags are still there. I'm continuing to use it because I like the refreshed appearance, just don't expect it to completely change your natural eye structure.

Awake red light therapy glasses

“USB charging sounds minor but I love it.” I travel quite a bit and appreciate not needing some weird proprietary charger. It just lives beside my other devices and has been really easy to keep charged.

Awake red light therapy glasses

“The EMS took a few goes to get used to.” The pulsing sensation felt strange the first time, especially because I’d never used an EMS beauty device before. Starting on the lowest setting helped. Now I barely think about it.

Awake red light therapy glasses

“Bought it after one too many ‘are you okay?’ comments.” I was honestly at the point where I dreaded going into work without concealer. A few weeks into using this I feel much more comfortable with my natural face. For me that alone makes it worth it.

Awake red light therapy glasses

“My eyes don't look as ‘heavy’.” It's difficult to describe because I haven't suddenly got completely different under-eyes. They just look less dull and tired. My whole face seems a little more awake because of it.

Awake red light therapy glasses

“People stopped asking if I was tired.” I've always had one of those faces where even after a full night's sleep people ask if I'm exhausted. After a few weeks of using this consistently, my under-eyes look noticeably smoother and more refreshed. The best part is honestly just not looking permanently drained anymore.

Awake red light therapy glasses

“A gradual difference, not an overnight miracle.” The first week I didn't notice much. Somewhere around week three my under-eye area started looking smoother and less puffy in the mornings. It's subtle, but I actually prefer that because it looks natural.

Awake red light therapy glasses

“Ten minutes is actually realistic.” I've bought skincare gadgets before that were just too much hassle, so they ended up in a drawer. This is simple enough that I actually use it. I put it on while answering messages or watching something and I'm done.

Awake red light therapy glasses

“Photos showed the difference better than the mirror.” Day to day I didn't think much was changing. I took another photo about a month later in the same lighting and the under-eye area looked noticeably less tired and smoother. Definitely take progress pictures.

Awake red light therapy glasses

I still have dark circles, but I don't look as exhausted.” Mine are genetic so I wasn't expecting them to disappear. What surprised me is how much improving the overall look and texture around them changed my whole face. The darkness is still there, but I look healthier and more awake.

Awake red light therapy glasses

“Not perfect eyes. Just eyes that finally look like me.” That's really what I wanted. I wasn't trying to look airbrushed or 18 again. I just wanted my face to stop telling everyone I was exhausted when I wasn't. The change has been gradual, but I feel much better about my under-eyes now.

Awake red light therapy glasses

“Love the different intensity settings.” I started on the lowest because I'm pretty cautious with anything around my eyes. After a while I moved up once I knew what the sensation felt like. Really straightforward to use.

Awake red light therapy glasses

“Didn't fix my hollows, but it improved the skin.” I have quite deep natural hollows and those obviously haven't disappeared. I do think the skin around them looks smoother and less crepey though. If you're expecting it to change your bone structure you'll be disappointed, but for skin quality I've noticed a difference.

Awake red light therapy glasses

“Skeptic converted.” I've bought caffeine serums, patches, expensive creams, ice rollers — everything. I wasn't expecting much from another beauty device. What surprised me is that this is the first thing I've been consistent with long enough to actually notice my under-eye area looking smoother and more rested.

Awake red light therapy glasses

“A little odd at first, then you forget about it.” The electrical stimulation is definitely noticeable. It isn't painful for me, but it's a sensation you need to get used to. The lower setting was perfect while I adjusted.

Awake red light therapy glasses

“My 40s hit my eyes before the rest of my face.” I started noticing fine lines and that permanently drained look under my eyes even though the rest of my skin still looked good. This has helped the area look smoother and a bit firmer. It's become one of the few things I consistently do.

Awake red light therapy glasses

“The difference shows most in photos.” Looking in the mirror every day made it hard to judge. Then I compared photos from about a month apart in the same window light and my under-eye area looked much fresher. That's when I knew I wasn't imagining it.

Awake red light therapy glasses

“Perfect while answering emails.” I work from home so I normally use it during the first ten minutes of my morning inbox. It doesn't add another complicated step to my day, which means I actually use it.

Awake red light therapy glasses

“I feel less self-conscious on no-makeup days.” This is the first thing that has made me feel like I can improve my under-eyes without simply covering them. That's been a surprisingly big confidence boost.

Awake red light therapy glasses

Don't expect it to erase genetic circles.” Mine are definitely genetic and they're still visible. What has changed is the texture and overall tired appearance around them. I look better even though I can still see some darkness.

Awake red light therapy glasses

My favourite part is how targeted it is.” I only really care about the area underneath my eyes, so a full LED mask always seemed excessive. This takes hardly any effort and works directly on the area I actually want to focus on.

Awake red light therapy glasses

“One month in and I'm genuinely impressed.” I was extremely skeptical because I've wasted so much money on eye creams. The change wasn't instant, but my under-eye skin looks smoother and I don't have that same permanently exhausted look first thing in the morning.

Awake red light therapy glasses

“Makes me look healthier rather than ‘younger’.” That's the best way I can describe the result. I'm not trying to erase every line from my face. I just don't want my eyes making me look drained all the time.

Awake red light therapy glasses

“Would have liked clearer instructions at first.” The device itself is simple once you’ve used it, but I spent the first day wondering exactly how it should sit and which intensity I should start with. After that it's been easy. I like the results enough that I use it almost every evening.

Awake red light therapy glasses

“No more ‘rough night?’ jokes every Monday morning.” I wish I was exaggerating 😂. My under-eyyes have always made me look tired. I can't say they've completely changed, but I look noticeably more rested now and that was genuinely all I was hoping for.

Awake red light therapy glasses

“I bought it because I was sick of the ‘you look tired’ comments.” Honestly those comments bother me more than the actual dark circles. I've always felt like my face makes me look more exhausted than I am. Since using this I feel like the under-eye area doesn't dominate my face as much.

Awake red light therapy glasses

“Great for someone who hates long skincare routines.” I'm never going to do twelve products every night. Give me one device for ten minutes and I'm much more likely to stay consistent. Really easy to fit into my life.

“One of the few beauty gadgets I've actually kept using.” Usually I get excited about devices for a week and then they end up in a drawer. This is quick enough that I've stayed consistent with it. That's probably why I've actually started noticing a difference.

Awake red light therapy glasses

“The skin underneath my eyes feels smoother.” Fine lines were becoming really obvious whenever I smiled or put makeup on. They're obviously still there, but the area looks smoother and makeup doesn't exaggerate them as much.

Awake red light therapy glasses

“The morning puffiness is much less noticeable.” I wake up looking like I haven’t slept for three days even when I have. This has become part of my morning routine and the area under my eyes looks much calmer afterwards. I look more awake before I've even touched my makeup.

Awake red light therapy glasses

“I don't immediately reach for concealer anymore.” That says everything for me. There are mornings now where I look in the mirror and think, actually, I'm fine like this

Awake red light therapy glasses

“It feels like it was made for my exact problem.” Most under-eye products talk about anti-ageing, but I'm not trying to look ten years younger. I just want to stop looking exhausted when I'm actually feeling fine. That's why this made sense to me.

Awake red light therapy glasses

“Subtle result, but definitely a result.” My partner noticed before I did. He said my eyes looked less tired one morning and had no idea I'd been using anything. That's the kind of change I wanted — noticeable without looking obvious.
